In the Trump Administration, cruelty is often the point. That’s not American. It diminishes us rather than makes us great. Yes, we’ve done cruel things in our nearly 250 years, but rarely as a matter of Administration policy (Japanese internment camps being a major exception) and not quite like this. Not ripping parents away from their children. Not sending humans off to brutal prisons with no desire to rectify “administrative errors” or to assure human dignity.

Sketchiers can be pretty dark. Ankle Bracelets is among the darkest. But, hey, these are dark times.
